Gowan Seed Company was founded in 1997 by Jon Jessen and Steve Slocum. Jon and Steve quickly found a kinship for smart business practices and good ideas. Their collaboration quickly led them down the road of creating a seed company specializing in providing high-quality vegetable seeds to farmers across the United States.
